The device (1) has a superconductor element (3) i.e. superconductor cable, located in a cryogenic enclosure i.e. cryostat (2), and a conductive element i.e. electrical bushing (4), connected to the cryogenic enclosure. A connection element (5) connects the superconductor element to the conductive element. The connection element is flexible and made of elastic material. The connection element includes an outer surface that is controlled in a manner to avoid local concentration of electric field on the outer surface.
