The gas buoy has an elongated torpedo shaped float (1) provided with attachments (11A, 11B) at its corresponding front and rear ends (10A, 10B) for attaching a cord (2) of a diver. A removable lifting arm (4) i.e. telescopic tube, is detachably fixed on a part of its length along the float to exceed one of the ends of the float. The arm has a rear end (42) to receive a ballast (5) i.e. sounding lead. A base (6) is situated near the front end of the float. The base has fixation units i.e. housings (61, 62), that fix a pole (31) of a signal flag (3) in a longitudinal direction (AA) of the float.
