The device has an opening frame comprising a top crosspiece (101) and a bottom crosspiece (102) formed of aluminum parts (120, 130) that connected to each other by thermal rupture bars (131, 132) crimped by deformable door knockers (160, 161). Parallel bases of the crosspieces respectively form a central cavity that is divided by one of the bars equipped with wings (134). End and central posts of the frame are formed of aluminum parts connected by thermal rupture bars crimped by door knockers. Parallel bases of the posts form a central cavity divided by one of the bars equipped with tabs. An independent claim is also included for a method of assembling a joinery work device.
