The block has two rectangular parallel vertical longitudinal walls (1) connected by two concave side walls (2) that are situated at ends of the two longitudinal walls. Plane support faces (3, 6) are formed at upper and lower faces of the two longitudinal walls, respectively. Inclined parts of a concave rabbet (7) are formed in the lower face of the two longitudinal walls, and inclined parts of a relief molding (4) are formed in the upper face of the two longitudinal walls. The inclined parts are molded to assure a horizontal fitment of blocks. An independent claim is also included for a wall.
