The door has a thermal protection liner (6) formed by assembling of self-supporting firewall plates, where thickness of the liner is about 60 mm. A metallic subframe (16) is coated with another thermal protection liner (18), where the liners are made of PROMATECT-T(RTM: lightweight, non-combustible, fire resisting calcium silicate aluminate board). The subframe and a periphery of a door frame (1) are equipped with metal sheets (19) that are coated with aluminum sheathed and hydrated sodium silicate based intumescent joints and that cooperate with each other to define a baffle (20).
