The system has an elastically deformable device comprising an elastically deformable element (34) e.g. helical traction spring, fixed to a beater (20) in an articulation point (36). The element is arranged for being fixed to a body shell (12) of a vehicle by working only in extension during oscillations of the beater from a rest position. The deformable element is not pre-stressed at the time of absence of oscillation of the beater in the rest position. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle comprising a vibration absorbing system.
