The module (20-1) has a processor for executing a scenario stored in an internal memory i.e. ROM, to transmit an instruction for closing a ventilation panel (10-1) to a control unit, in a determined range of time. A communication unit (24-1) sends a notification message to a remote equipment e.g. cellular telephone, or to a monitoring station (40), via a communication network i.e. local area network (R2), where the message comprises data representing opening/closing state of the panel. The processor ignores all derogation requests to avoid the closing of the panel in the range of time. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for controlling a ventilation panel (2) a computer program comprising instructions for performing a method for controlling opening, closing or opening degree of a ventilation panel (3) a recording medium comprising instructions for performing a method for controlling opening, closing or opening degree of a ventilation panel.
