The head has an opening (9) e.g. hole, formed in a striking surface (4) to contain a portion of a golf ball and to allow temporary rise of the golf ball and to allow evacuation of compressed materials between the golf ball and the striking surface at a time of a golf stroke. The opening has polygonal shape with multiple sides. The golf ball is rested in the opening by a contact point until totality of points of an inscribed circle defines a disk of any spherical cap. A handle is utilized as a connection between a rubber grip and the head.
