The module (1) has caissons (2a, 2b) comprising a mirror (24) and a support plate (22), respectively, and defining a place for a hairdresser. A shutter (3) is movable with respect to the caissons between a closed position and an open position. The shutter closes the caissons and prevents access to the mirror in the closed position. The shutter authorizes access to the mirror in the open position. A door lock (4) is arranged between the shutter and the caissons. The door lock prevents the opening of the shutter and maintains the shutter in the closed position. The shutter is chosen from a group comprising a sliding door, a roller blind and a panel. An independent claim is also included for a barber shop comprising a hairdresser module.
