Water-in-oil inverse emulsion comprises: (a) at least 30 wt.% of one or more fatty body comprising liquid unsaturated fatty alcohol; and (b) one or more alkalizing agent. Independent claims are included for: (1) process for coloring or lightening human keratin material comprising applying the emulsion in the presence of a composition comprising one or more oxidizing agent, on the material; and (2) a two compartment device comprising the emulsion in one compartment, and the composition comprising one or more oxidizing agent in the other compartment.
