The device has a translucent or transparent plastic plate carrying a hollow enrolled pattern on a face of the plate, and a color decoration unit that is connected at another face of the plate. A light source e.g. LED (23), is directed towards a slot of a rigid plate (21) for lighting a part of the pattern so that the pattern reflects a part of light towards another face of the plastic plate and a part of the pattern is colored and lightened. A plastic material receptacle houses the light source, where the light source is mounted on a flexible paper or plastic printed circuit. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a device for supporting information and/or design.
