The device has an occultation element (11) i.e. occultation cloth, connected to a draw bar (13) and displaced along a deployment axis. An actuation unit is shifted from the bar and mounted movably in sliding motion along the deployment axis. The actuation unit includes a driving element and a gripping element connected by a connection element. The draw bar is detached from the driving element to allow deployment of the occultation element on a deployment range from a partially deployed state to a completely deployed state and to make the actuation unit immovable.
