The pool has a trough or peripheral gutter (G) for recovery of overflowing water, and vertical walls (100) whose upper part (110) receives a peripheral curb section (300). The section is preformed on a lateral flange (310) for being attached to the upper part, and on another lateral flange (320) to form a peripheral coupling module (330) of a peripheral border (210) of a liner (200) such that the coupling module is shifted outwardly and placed below water level (E). The latter flange retaining the border of the liner is preformed to direct the overflowing water toward the gutter. The gutter is inclined to direct water flow toward a tank.
