The assembly has a set of humeral intramedullary nails (2) and another set of humeral intramedullary nails with different sizes. Each nail of the former set includes first, second, third and fourth through-holes (5a-5d) on a proximal portion (3) of the nail. Each nail of the latter set includes first, second and third through-holes on a proximal portion of the nail of the latter set. The third hole of the nail of the former set and the second hole of the nail of the latter set are located along orientation and distance with respect to a proximal end (7) or another proximal end of one nail. An independent claim is also included for an accessory for positioning intramedullary nails.
