The circuit has a cell for delivering a reset signal in response to appearance of a leading edge (Fa1) to store a number of clock pulses transmitted by an output of another cell and to provide the stored number of pulses. The former cell comprises an input connected to receive an image signal (I), an output connected to an input of the latter cell for delivering the reset signal and another input connected to the output of the latter cell for collecting the number of clock pulses stored at end of phenomenon characteristic duration (T).
