The device has a rotation axle (10) integrated with a support (2), where a piece to be assembled is rotationally mounted on the rotation axle. A fixation connector (20) is adapted to be inserted and immobilized in translation in an axial bore (13) of the rotation axle. A deformable plate (30) is mounted on the connector, and forms a stop that stops the piece to be assembled in translation along the rotation axle after deformation of the plate under an insertion action of the connector in the rotation axle. An independent claim is also included for a gearbox comprising a cable sliding in a sheath connected to a lever.
