The sponge (10) has a plant sponge layer (12), fixed to a hydrophilic synthetic sponge layer (14). An abrasive surface (16) is provided at a side of the synthetic sponge layer. The abrasive surface is implemented through a fleece material, which is impregnated with warm-hardened resin. An independent claim is included for a sum of two sponges.
