A method for dynamically multiplexing a broadcast stream comprises: receiving metadata (220, Figure 2) associated with a first plurality of events 110 on plural source channels 120, the metadata including scheduling metadata; determining 130, based on a rule-set 210 applied to the metadata, whether each event of the first plurality of events 110 is included in a multiplex, thereby producing a second plurality of events to be included in the multiplex; for each one event of the second plurality of events, assigning a multiplex priority (230, Figure 2) that the event is to be assigned in case of a conflict between the event and a second event of the second plurality; multiplexing each event of the second plurality in a plurality of pseudo-channels (not accessible to end users; 410, 420: Figure 4), producing a multiplex (:430, Figure 4) of pseudo-channels, and broadcasting the pseudo-channel multiplex, wherein the pseudo-channel multiplex includes a secondary multiplex, downloadable by a client device such that each of the second plurality of events is downloadable on at least one channel of the plurality of source channels prior to the broadcasting of the multiplex of pseudo-channels.
