Exterior solar shading louvre with light redirection and infra-red filter

Exterior solar shading 10 is disclosed comprising at least one elongate, transparent louvre 12. The louvre has infra-red filter means 24 for reducing the transmission of infra-red radiation and light reflecting means 16 for reflecting visible light which passes through the louvre. The light reflecting means may be integrally formed with a surface of the louvre and may be used to scatter light incident on the surface. The reflection may be by means of internal reflection. The light reflecting means may be a series of grooves in the surface of the transparent louvre.
