After automatically determining that a central point 14 has co-located radios, i.e. WiMAX and WiFi transceivers 28, 30, and receiving an indication that the central point 14 is experiencing coexistence interference, a scheduling algorithm is initiated. The scheduling may include allocating the central point 14 into a minimum number of frames subject to WiMAX capacity constraints and/or allocating an equal number of central points within each WiMAX frame. The scheduling may additionally take into account delay requirements of the central points so that central points having pending WiMAX tasks with a nearest deadline are scheduled first.
