INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF DELINEATOR AND DELINEATOR FOR USE IN THE INSTALLATION STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure of a delineator, capable of safely continuing the function of visual guidance, and the delineator for use therein.;SOLUTION: A first delineator and a second delineator each having a reflector 5 with a retroreflection surface facing in one direction, a light emitting diode, and a light projection part 6 which focuses the light emitted from the light emitting diode with a focusing lens and projects the light in the direction opposite to the retroreflection surface are arranged in a row spaced apart from each other, with the projection parts 6 facing in the travelling direction of a vehicle. The light projected from the projection part 6 of the first delineator installed behind the second delineator is projected to the retroreflection surface of the reflector 5 of the second delineator installed in front of the first delineator. The installation allows the light to be projected forward, in the initial travelling direction of the vehicle, so that the projected light hardly causes such a problem that the projected light directly enters the eye of the driver of a vehicle travelling on a road.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
