PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect copy failure at an early stage when copying a broadcast material to redundant material transmitting apparatuses for operation.;SOLUTION: A material transmitting apparatus that is connected with a material server storing broadcasting materials and duplicates/transmits the material of the material server, comprises: a storage unit; a consistency confirmation information acquisition unit; and a consistency confirmation unit. The storage unit stores divided data which are transmitted by dividing the material of the material server into a plurality of pieces of data. The consistency confirmation information acquisition unit acquires a plurality of pieces of consistency confirmation information through different routes to confirm consistency of the divided data individually. The consistency confirmation unit compares the consistency confirmation information acquired through different routes by the consistency confirmation information acquisition unit to confirm consistency of the divided data stored in the storage unit every time transmission or reception of one or a prescribed number of the divided data is completed.
