PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pressure-sensitive type adhesive resin composition formable of optical pressure-sensitive type adhesive films which are used for being adhered to optical members such as glass members for liquid crystal cells, are excellent in removability from the glass members for the liquid crystal cells and in adherend-staining resistance, and are excellent in durability (heat resistance, moist heat resistance) after adhered, and to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive.SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive type adhesive resin composition comprising a resin (A) prepared by polymerizing a monomer component consisting essentially of a hydroxy group-having ethylenic unsaturated monomer (a1) and a cyclic structure-having resin (B) is characterized in that the cyclic structure-having resin (B) has carboxy groups and does not have a hydroxy group.
