PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material composition for forming a super-hydrophobic coating film, capable of making a substrate surface of an optional shape into a super-hydrophobic surface, a super-hydrophobic coating film obtained using the same, and a method for easily producing the coating film.SOLUTION: The coating material composition for forming a super-hydrophobic coating film contains a powder (X1) composed of an organic inorganic composite nanostructure in which a filament of a polymer (A) having a straight-chain polyethylene imine skeleton is covered with silica (B); and a hardenable fluorine-containing compound (Y) having polymerizable unsaturated group. The super-hydrophobic coating film is obtained by applying the composition onto a variety of substrates followed by drying and hardening.
