PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glassy alloy composite material having a performance index M of 600 or more, having both high strength and high electrical conductivity, and capable of reducing production cost and to provide a method for producing the glassy alloy composite material.;SOLUTION: The glassy alloy composite material is produced by forming an electroconductive plating layer through an adhesion interlayer comprising Ni on the surface of a glassy alloy whose composition by atom% is represented by a compositional formula: FeaCobNicBxSiyMz(wherein 0≤a≤80, 0≤b≤80, 0≤c≤18, 70a+b+c≤80, 7≤x≤21, 4≤y≤16, 18≤x+y≤25, M is either or both of Nb and Ta, and 0≤z≤5). The glassy alloy has a thickness of 10-25 μm. The plating layer contains at least either of Cu and Ag and has a thickness of 20-50 μm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
