PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cavitation prevention control device and method capable of efficiently getting out of a cavitation region of a boiler circulation pump in a cold clean-up process of a power generation unit.;SOLUTION: This cavitation prevention control device 10 includes a temperature sensor 301 measuring an inlet temperature of a BCP 103, and an SFWB valve adjustment section 14 disposed on an outlet pipe of an M-BFP 101 and adjusting an opening of an SFWB valve 202 adjusting an inlet pressure of the BCP 103. This cavitation prevention control device 10 determines whether the inlet temperature of the BCP 103 measured by the temperature sensor 301 while supplying the clean-up water by an M-BFP-BP 102, is a prescribed temperature or higher, starts an M-BFP 101 when the temperature is determined to be the prescribed temperature or higher, and adjusts the opening of the SFWB valve 202 by the SFWB valve adjustment section 14 to control the inlet pressure of the BCP 103.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
