PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cost-effective article and method for protecting a window, a display and a signage while saving time and labor.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an article comprising a transparent stack of sheets that may be applied to protect substrates such as glass or plastic windows, displays or signage. A topmost sheet can be peeled away after it is damaged to reveal an undamaged sheet below. The invention also relates to a method of protecting substrates such as glass or plastic windows, displays or signage from vandalism or other surface damage by adhering the protected substrate, and the stack of sheets to the protected substrate, and subsequently pulling the topmost sheet away from the stack of sheets after damaged.
