PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval and display system of market information capable of, upon receiving simple input data, searching and extracting an individual brand which has a price chart in a specific trend desired by a searcher from a large amount of market information and intelligibly displaying the price chart of the extracted brand.;SOLUTION: The retrieval and display system includes pattern sorting means (22) that sorts magnitude relationship of "average" data of a short term, medium term, and long term for every "reference time", which constitutes an "average" data string of a short term, medium term, and long term for every "time unit" of each individual brand, into six magnitude relationship patterns; and first individual brand retrieval means (23) that, when a "retrieval condition of pattern specification of magnitude relationship" is set as the retrieval condition, extracts an individual brand which matches with a magnitude relationship pattern data string identified by a "time unit" and being magnitude relationship pattern data specified by a specified "reference time", from the magnitude relationship pattern data strings of each individual brand.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
