PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve overall processing efficiency in a configuration in which a processing to divide a file into a plurality of pieces and transfer the pieces is performed even if the size of the file is large, in file transfer (input/output) between computers on a network.SOLUTION: An inventive multi-thread type file input-output system comprises: in a transmission side computer 1, a first module 10 which performs a processing to read data from an input file 4, divide the file 4 into a plurality of pieces d, and transfer the file as the plurality of pieces d to a network 3 by a multi-thread processing; and in a reception side computer 2, a second module 20 which performs a processing to receive the plurality of pieces d from the network 3, unify them, and write the file into an output file 5 by a multi-thread processing.
