PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend support to optimize speed in collaboration with a traffic light.;SOLUTION: An optimal speed support system 100 comprises: a vehicle 10 mounted with a car navigation device 11; a traffic light 20; and an optimal speed support server 30. The optimal speed support server 30 has optimal speed calculation means 302 which calculates speed, for the vehicle 10 to reach the traffic light 20 at a time when the same turns green, as optimal speed based on a distance between the traffic light 20 and the vehicle 10 as well as time until the traffic light 20 turns green; and optimal speed notification means 303 which notifies the car navigation device of information on the optimal speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
