PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bonding an organic molecular crystal layer, by which the organic molecular crystal layer can be bonded to an electrode by controlling orientation of the organic molecular crystal layer, and to provide a method for manufacturing an organic element using the bonding method.;SOLUTION: In the case of forming, on an insulating base body 11, an electrode 12 and an organic molecular crystal layer 13, which is to be bonded to the electrode 12 and is composed of an aromatic compound, orientation of the organic molecular crystal layer 13 with respect to the electrode 12 is controlled by controlling the tilt angle of a side surface 12a of the electrode 12 with respect to a main surface of the insulating base body 11.
