PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a viewer to check the remaining battery of eyeglasses for image appreciation at a glance.SOLUTION: Liquid crystal shutter eyeglasses 1 are provided with a liquid crystal shutter 12 capable of switching images displayed on a display device 2 between a displayed state and a non-displayed state for the viewer. The liquid crystal shutter eyeglasses 1 are provided with: a remaining battery detection part 112 which detects the remaining battery in the liquid crystal shutter eyeglasses 1; and a holding control part 115 which holds the liquid crystal shutter 12 to allow light to pass therethrough according to the remaining battery detected by the remaining battery detection part 112.
