PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a decorative concrete block which can manufacture a plurality of pieces of decorative concrete block for forming both decorative coating layer and coating material layer simultaneously in a short time.SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the decorative concrete block comprises as follows. A plurality of material concrete blocks 1 are juxtaposed and laminated between each of plate members 12, 13 and 14 which are arranged in parallel. Thus a concrete block laminate 10 is formed. This laminate 10 is immobilized by an immobilization by a pressure means 11, and further, a primary coat regulating coating material 2A, an adhesive coating material 2B, a decorative coating material 2C and a coverage coating material 2D are applied to the entire surface 1C of the side, and as a result, a decorative coating layer 2 is formed. After drying, a coating material layer 4 is formed on the entire surface 3A of the side of the formed decorative concrete block laminate 3. Besides, cuts 4A and 4B are made together in the decorative coating layer 2 and the coating material layer 4 of each decorative concrete block 5 simultaneously, along laminating lines 3B and 3C. Consequently, the decorative coating layer 2 is cut off as protected by the coating material layer 4.
