PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the formation of gas hydrate to be artificially controlled and promoted, and to enable another gas hydrate resource at the site to be efficiently mined and recovered by decomposing other gas hydrate by the heat generated at the formation.;SOLUTION: The method for promoting the formation of the gas hydrate is carried out as follows. An emulsion 5 in which a liquid 4 of a guest molecule is dispersed in a dispersion medium 24 by forming the liquid 4 into fine particles smaller than a clearance 3 in a stratum 2, is injected to the clearance 3 in the stratum 2 under a temperature and pressure condition under which the guest molecule can become the hydrate 6. Stirring effects are imparted to the emulsion 5 by allowing fluid at the vicinity of a container 20 positioned in the stratum 2 to be sucked in by opening the opening part 20a of the container 20 by forming a vacuum state, or by pushing out the fluid from the container 20 by opening the opening part 20a of the container 20 positioned in the stratum 2 by injecting the fluid and a compressed gas.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
