METHOD FOR REPAIRING DRAIN PIPING SYSTEM OF MULTISTORIED BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a drain piping system of a multistoried building, which allows repairing work of an existing deteriorated drain piping system over a plurality of days to be efficiently performed with minimized inconvenience to the inhabitants.;SOLUTION: A vertical drain pipe 1 of an existing drain piping system A is cut off immediately above a lowermost existing converging drain joint 2 of the vertical drain pipe 1. A vent pipe 7 is cut off beneath a floor slab S on which the lowermost existing converging drain joint 2 is supported. The lowermost existing converging drain joint 2 of the vertical drain pipe 1 is then replaced with a special drain joint 2a, which is connected to a leg joint 6a through a vent pipe connecting joint 8a having a branch section 82 branching obliquely upward from the special drain joint 2a and the leg joint 6a. The vertical drain pipe 1 and the leg joint 6a are thus communicated again, so that the lowermost end of the vertical drain pipe 1 is renewed. On the other hand, a lowermost end renewal step of connecting the branch section 82 and the remaining lower end of the vent pipe 7 through a flexible pipe 9a is performed in the first place.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
