PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable object prediction device capable of appropriately predicting a position in accordance with a behavior of a movable object when predicting the position of the movable object using a prediction model.;SOLUTION: A controller 3 of a movable object prediction device 1 has: a movable object identification section 4 to identify a behavior of a movable object; a prediction model determination section 7 to determine a prediction model with respect to the movable object on the basis of the behaviour of the movable object; and a movable object position prediction section 8 to predict a positional region of the movable object using the prediction model. The prediction model determination section 7 obtains a velocity dispersion σ of the movable object from the behavior of the movable object and sets a spread angle θ of the prediction model: at a standard angle θ0 when the velocity dispersion σ is within a prescribed range; smaller than the standard angle θ0 when the velocity dispersion σ is smaller than the prescribed range; and larger than the standard angle θ0 when the velocity dispersion σ is larger than the prescribed range.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
