PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder composition for powder metallurgy capable of manufacturing a metal sintered body that has a high sintered density and is excellent in ductility and dimension accuracy even if it is burned at a low temperature, and to provide a compound for powder metallurgy, and to provide a sintered body having high density and excellent ductility that is obtained by using the compound for powder metallurgy.;SOLUTION: The compound for powder metallurgy includes the binder composition for powder metallurgy and a metal powder. The binder composition for powder metallurgy includes a hydrocarbon-based resin and wax, wherein the content of the hydrocarbon-based resin is 1 to 2 times the content of the wax, by mass ratio, and the content of oxygen is 20 mass% or less.
