PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tacky adhesive composition excellent in both light leakage resistance and durability when applied to an optical member of a polarizing plate or the like, to provide a method of manufacturing the tacky adhesive composition, and to provide a tacky adhesive, and a tacky adhesive sheet.SOLUTION: The adhesive composition includes: a first (meth)acrylic acid ester polymer (A) having 500,000-3,000,000 of a weight-average molecular weight; a second (meth)acrylic acid ester polymer (B) having 8,000-300,000 of a weight-average molecular weight; and a crosslinking agent (C), wherein (B) contains a monomer having a functional group (b1) reacting with the crosslinking agent (C) as a constituent, (A) does not contain a monomer having a functional group reacting with the crosslinking agent (C) as a constituent or contains a monomer having a functional group (a1) whose reactivity with the crosslinking agent (C) is lower than that of the functional group (b1) of (B) as a constituent, and (A) and/or (B) contains a monomer having an aromatic ring as a constituent.
