PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary ware such as a lavatory bowl and a basin having a glaze layer which can conceal the base of the sanitary ware satisfactorily without using any emulsifying agent, and which is not easily stained.;SOLUTION: This sanitary ware has a glaze layer composed of one layer formed on the sanitary ware base, as a sole glaze layer, where the glaze layer is mainly composed of amorphous phase-separated glass, and the surface roughness Ra of the glaze layer surface is 0.07 μm or less. Herewith the sanitary ware base can be satisfactorily concealed and good white color can be imparted to the sanitary ware in a preferred embodiment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
