PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data generation method with which the time for generation of a plurality of images can be made shorter from multiple observation points of a subject used for a holographic stereogram.;SOLUTION: An image data generation method includes a step in which a relative movement is performed such that a camera revolves with respect to a subject fixed or the subject rotates with respect to the camera fixed, obtaining image data of a plurality of orthographic projection images taken from multiple different viewpoints and a step in which image data of the multiple viewpoints image to be recorded in a holographic stereogram is formed from the image data of the orthographic projection images.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
