PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a doctor to quickly determine whether or not a candidate region for abnormality included in an image representing the inside of a subject is an anatomical abnormality such as a tuber.;SOLUTION: An extended tuber candidate region 12 specifies a peripheral region continuous with a tuber candidate region included in the image representing the inside of the subject.
