PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that, even when power interruption occurs in any timing during an operation, can be started by restoring to its former operation state before the power interruption as much as possible.;SOLUTION: A rear projector including a control board for performing a driving control of a device body, comprises the control board including: an arithmetic processing section for updating operation state data according to a change of settings of the rear projector; and a memory having a plurality of storage regions, for storing the updated operation state data in the respective storage regions. The arithmetic processing section includes: a data updating section for recording the operation state data corresponding to the change of the settings in the respective storage regions of the memory; a right or wrong determining section for determining whether or not the operation state data recorded in the respective storage regions is normal when the rear projector is started; and a start processing section for performing start processing of the rear projector based on the operation state data which is determined to be normal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
