PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily inspect in which part, hardware is to be used in which performance (speed), in design and development of a system using a hardware off-road engine.;SOLUTION: A system design and development supporting apparatus comprises: a software processing unit for processing a software program; a pseudo-hardware processing unit for operating a hardware off-road engine in a pseudo manner; an information management unit connected to the software processing unit and the pseudo-hardware processing unit; and an interface connected to external devices. The software processing unit comprises a software program including a plurality of processes aimed at a hardware off-road, and the pseudo-hardware processing unit comprises a software program including a plurality of processes aimed at a hardware off-road. If the processing by the software processing unit is identical to the processing by the pseudo-hardware processing unit, the processing by the pseudo-hardware processing unit is performed at high speed with respect to the processing by the software processing unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
