PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy of a subject in a photoacoustic measurement device.;SOLUTION: First light is radiated to the subject from a laser light source 22, and photoacoustic signals generated inside the subject by radiating the subject with the first light are detected by an ultrasonic sensor 18. Prior to radiating the first light, second light for measuring the distance is emitted from a laser light source 19, and the reflected light of the emitted second light is detected by a reflected light detection means 20. A time measuring means 16 measures the time from emission of the second light to detection of the reflected light.
