PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing unit which can reduce the possibility of acquisition leakage of a communication signal when at least any one of a light source in the transmission source or a light receiving unit on the reception side is moving, and can shorten the communication speed of optical communication and the processing time of received light without depending on the number of photoelectric elements.;SOLUTION: In an information processing unit 1, acquisition means 3 acquires an electric signal converted by a given photoelectric element 6 out of a plurality of photoelectric elements 6. Control means 4 determines a photoelectric element 6 which received the light transmitted from the light source in the transmission source based on the amount of charges converted into an electric signal. After acquiring the electric signal of a given photoelectric element 6 out of a plurality of photoelectric elements 6, a determination is made from which of the photoelectric elements 6 contiguous to the given photoelectric element 6 an electric signal is acquired based on the given conditions, and then the acquisition means 3 is controlled to acquire the electric signal of the photoelectric element 6 thus determined.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
