PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function generation circuit, capable of easily approximating a control signal of an oscillator circuit vibrating a crystal vibrator to a desired temperature compensation curve.;SOLUTION: The function generation circuit (temperature compensation circuit 21) outputs a control voltage Vc of an oscillator circuit 30 vibrating a crystal vibrator 35, as a temperature compensation curve to compensate an oscillation frequency, output from an OSCOUT terminal, which is varied by a frequency-temperature characteristic of the oscillator circuit 30, according to an ambient temperature T. The function generation circuit includes: a temperature detection circuit 2 for outputting a detection voltage VT of the ambient temperature T; and based on the detection voltage VT of the ambient temperature T output from the temperature detection circuit 2, a Bezier curve generation circuit 7 for generating a Bezier curve as the control voltage Vc.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
