OPTIMAL ROUTE SEARCH SYSTEM AND OPTIMAL ROUTE SEARCH METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for an optimal route which enables a worker to efficiently accomplish predetermined work by combining a plurality of pieces of transportation means in consideration of characteristics of each piece of transportation means.;SOLUTION: An optimal route search system comprises one or more computers to optimize a traveling route of a moving body. The computer comprises: a route information database including route network management information for managing a route network composed of nodes and links connecting the nodes; and a route search unit for searching for an optimal route having the smallest traveling cost for the moving body. The route search unit is configured to: determine destinations; search for the closest node to each destination; search for traveling routes through which the moving body travels all of the destinations and at least one or more of the closest nodes; calculate a traveling cost necessary for the moving body to travel through each of the found traveling routes; determine the traveling route having the smallest calculated traveling cost as the optimal route; and search for a traveling route using each piece of transportation means by which the moving body travels through the optimal route.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
