PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic coupon issuing method and the like for improving value of an electronic book, which can improve effectiveness of advertising of articles or advertisement contained in the electronic book.;SOLUTION: The electronic coupon issuing method in a server device which issues electronic coupons related to what is written in the electronic book to a terminal device displaying the electronic book via a network has: a reception process for receiving book identification information about the electronic book from the terminal device via the network when the electronic book is browsed at the terminal device; a determination process for determining an electronic coupon to transmit to the terminal device based on the received book identification information and coupon identification information about the electronic coupon associated with the book identification information on each electronic book in advance; and a transmission process for transmitting electronic data on the determined electronic coupon to the terminal device via the network.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
