PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic acid-containing solution degradative treatment method, an organic acid-containing solution degradative treatment device, and an electrode for organic acid-containing solution degradative treatment, which are superior in economic efficiency and in durability and which enable stable degradative treatment of a waste liquid containing an organic acid (an organic acid-containing solution).;SOLUTION: An organic acid-containing solution degradative treatment method and a device are provided for immersing a positive electrode 1 and a negative electrode 2 in a waste liquid 4 that contains an organic acid, applying an electrical current between the positive electrode 1 and the negative electrode 2, and performing the degradative treatment of the organic acid.
