PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root cutting device producible at a low cost, having good operability, and allowing to smoothly perform root cutting by low labor.;SOLUTION: This root cutting device 10 includes a root cutting member 12 which is inserted into between a bottom plate lower surface of a flat boxy seedling pallet having an opened upper surface and storing many seedlings, and a ground surface where the seedling pallet is placed, and performs root cutting of seedlings by pull moving operation to one direction along the bottom plate lower surface of the seedling pallet, and a driving part 14 which pull moves and drives the root cutting member 12 along the bottom plate lower surface of the seedling pallet.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
